# People assignment: do we have the people and skills for Northstar?

> **Background reference only — not a separate workshop task.** During the
> scheduled workshop, use the People step inside E4 instead.

Produce a resourcing recommendation using only the supplied synthetic role, skill,
availability, requirement, and risk data. Do not infer personal traits or sensitive
information from scheduling records.

## Use these sources

- `00-brief/`
- `02-product-and-demo/demo-plan/requirements-matrix.csv`
- `05-people-and-resourcing/`
- `06-leadership/risk-register.csv`
- `07-inbox/inbox-hr@northstar-demo.invalid.md`

In `requirements-matrix.csv`, the `source` column records upstream provenance.
If that upstream file is not in your role package, cite and assess the `REQ-*` row
you can actually open; do not imply that you inspected the unavailable source.

## Deliverables

Complete `08-output-templates/staffing-plan-template.md` with:

1. a requirements-to-skills map;
2. overbooking, coverage, and single-point-of-failure risks;
3. a feasible plan A and plan B;
4. decisions and approvals that remain human-owned;
5. a short message to the responsible managers.

Every material claim must cite a source ID. Open each cited source in a final
“show the source” pass. Record one AI suggestion you rejected or corrected and why.

## Stretch

Turn your prompt sequence into a six-step reusable workflow for resource planning
that avoids unsupported inferences about people.
